Noteworthy at ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëùn: Going Blue and Gold saves big green!
For the seventh year in a row, U.S. News & World Report has ranked ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëù No. 1 for students who graduate with the least amount of debt among Midwest regional universities. NEIU also ranked highly in three other categories. This week, ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëùn also announced that the U.S. Department of Education has awarded the University a five-year, $3 million Developing Hispanic-Serving Institutions Program grant. College of Arts and Sciences changes names of two departments, a major and a minor
ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëù’s College of Arts and Sciences has changed the name of its Art department to Art + Design and the department, major and minor of Women’s and Gender Studies to Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies beginning in the Fall 2020 semester.

2015 – Enter a master’s degree program
2018 – Graduate with a master’s degree
2020 – Return to ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëùn to teach and start a local, comprehensive arts program
