U.S. Department of Education awards $5 million grant to ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëù
The U.S. Department of Education has awarded ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëù a five-year, $5 million Hispanic-Serving Institutions - Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (HSI - STEM) and Articulation Program grant to increase the number of students who complete STEM majors and contribute to diversifying the STEM workforce.
ChicagoCHEC to host 6th Annual Community Forum
The Chicago Cancer Health Equity Collaborative (ChicagoCHEC) has announced details for its 6th Annual Community Forum, which will take place virtually from 11 a.m-1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, and Friday, Sept. 24, via Zoom.

ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëù students presented research at the ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëùs Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëùs LSAMP) and eight earned awards for their research! Womxn’s HERstory Month wraps up, the Department of Student Success and Retention hosts their first Spring into NEIU: Transfer Student Survival Guide event and several more virtual activities are scheduled.
