Celebrating Womxn's HERstory Month

The Angelina Pedroso Center for Diversity and Intercultural Affairs has a series of events scheduled this month in celebration of Womxn’s HERstory Month. This week, they’re honoring ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëùn’s Unsung Sheroes. Additionally, this week the University hosts the annual International Business Conference and the annual Women in Science Conference. ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëù awarded $275,000 grant from USDA-NIFA

The U.S. Department of Agriculture National Institute of Food and Agriculture (USDA-NIFA) has awarded ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëù a $275,000 grant to support its agriculture science engagement at Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI). ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëùn is one of 26 institutions in the United States—and the only institution in ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëùs—to receive this grant. It is ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëùn’s fourth USDA-NIFA grant and its fifth USDA grant overall.
