Purchasing
The Purchasing Office is exclusively responsible for ensuring that goods and services are purchased in the most cost-effective manner on behalf of all NEIU departments and offices. We oversee the competitive bidding process in accordance with the ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëùs Procurement Code and NEIU Board of Trustee regulations and encourage use of minority, women and persons with disabilities-owned businesses through the Business Enterprise Program (BEP) and Small Business Set Aside Program (SBSA). We are committed to sound procurement ethics and demonstrate responsible environmental stewardship of resources, Procurement Code, University Board of Trustee regulations, and the fiscal policies and procedures of ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëù.
Procurement opportunities are advertised on the ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëùs Public Higher Education Procurement Bulletin. Vendors are encouraged to register online to receive current announcements of ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëùs Public Higher Education bid opportunities.
