Services
Students must be currently enrolled at NEIU, with a valid NEIU ID, in order to receive services from Student Health Services. Students do not need to be covered under a health insurance plan in order to use these services. The Student Health Service fee supports our office.

- Basic care of minor illness/injury
- Blood pressure check
- Blood sugar check
- Smoking cessation
- Strep throat screening/treatment
- TB test
- UTI screening/treatment
- Vaccination (limited)
Sexual Health
- Pap test
- Breast exams
- Prescription for birth control
- Emergency contraception
- Pregnancy test
- Gynecological infections
- Other minor gynecological issues
- Chlamydia and Gonorrhea screening/treatment
- Non student partners will be referred to external resources for treatment
- Routine testing available once a semester

How to Make an Appointment
We ask all NEIU students who want to set an appointment to first email us at health-services@neiu.edu
In your email, please include the following:
- Your full name
- NEIU ID Number
- Indicate if you're a NEST resident, F1, J1, and/or SAELL student
- A couple of dates and times you are able to come to the clinic
- Reason for the appointment
You will receive a confirmation email of your appointment.
